Hazelton Private Retreat

Perched on the top of a mountain, this new construction log cabin retreat allows for views from the living room into New York State. The approach for this was to have as many natural finishes installed into the features of the architecture so as to bring the outdoors and surrounding area in. The log staircase railing was built with local trees taken from the property, the bark removed and the logs treated. There were also trees taken from the property that were also installed along the length of the fireplace chimney and installed in the kitchen island area. We also installed bark tiles in the first floor powder room behind the natural live edge vanity top. This active family enjoys all that the area has to offer.
